Buttercream

My old truck has served me so well for the last 2.5 years, but has reached a point where she is breaking down. We fix one thing and something else breaks because of it. We have done many quick fixes to keep her running everyday, but the uncertainty of travel with an old truck means we have reached a point where we are letting too many people down. And I hate doing that!

Our plan is that for the next few months, we are going to leave the truck in our permanent spot in University City (34th and Market) and be open Tues-Friday 11am to 3pm. We will still have specials for students on Thursdays and will try to have something exciting everyday. While we scale back with the truck, we are going to ramp up OUR OWN SPACE. We will be opening BUTTERCREAM, an american bakery that captures everything amazing about scratch baking. Then we will operate both the bakery and the truck, at both out permanent spot and events and spots around the city.

Of course, we will continue to accept living social coupons from now until the end of March, at our location at 34th and Market. Hope you will come see me there, and eventually in my new spot!
